Graduates of the University of Kentucky, John and Karen Schopp founded Center Stage Catering, Inc. in 2001. Karen leads the sales function of CSC with a focus on providing customer service and attention to detail, while John Schopp is well known in the Chef community bringing over 30 years of culinary, hospitality and event management experience to the Center Stage team. The two together have developed a strong team of service oriented hospitality professionals built on the simple idea of ‘you are only as good as your last event’. Although Center Stage Catering, Inc. has received testimonials from artists such as Wynton Marsalis and Kenny Chesney, they are just as proud of the local endorsements received from clients hosting weddings, fundraisers and corporate events. “An event should be more than just food; it should say something about the client and should have its own unique energy.” Schopp said, “We are excited about our role at Mariners Landing”.
